Inspired by pulp adventure ( Uncharted series and upcoming Indiana Jones game), I wanted to create a series of scenes to practice environmental story-telling and to get some Substance practice with ancient artifacts.
Critiques more than welcome!
01: The Archaeologists' Office. Start of the adventure, focusing on the catalyst item ( stone tablet with inscriptions) to kick off the story. A small, cramped, basement office that will contrast against bright, exotic locales to come later. Dramatic lighting to create intrigue in the mysterious object. Extra challenge to fill the office with items/artifacts of past adventures without stealing focus from the stone tablet. I want to add more mementos to build the backstory of the archaeologist, right now it's just the aged photograph of a mentor/father figure wearing the same leather jacket found in the office.
